Strictly Florence at the Aylesbury Waterside Theatre is a dancing competition with professional dancers partnering with amateurs (local dignitaries, donors) to compete for Strictly Florence glory. Featuring group and individual couple dances, in a great range of styles, it will be a great night for anyone who loves dance, music and friendly competition.
Our professionals all come from dance and theatre backgrounds, featuring award-winning theatre performers and world-class breakdance champions. The event will be hosted by La Voix. Judges to be announced – it’s exciting news! Everyone in the audience also has a part to play, as they will have the opportunity to vote and decide which couple becomes the Strictly Florence People’s Champion.
This all-singing, all-dancing event is being delivered by Florence Nightingale Hospice Charity as it celebrates the Florence Nightingale Hospice’s 35th anniversary. Over the years, the Hospice has supported thousands of patients and families across Buckinghamshire and its borders at some of the most difficult times in their lives. All those taking part in the event are volunteering their time as well as fundraising individually. All profits from this event will be donated to the Hospice.
Comedian, singer and outright diva La Voix will be hosting Strictly Florence.
