After years of waiting, a fairytale awakes in York...

Everyone knows that teenagers love a good lie-in, but the Princess Aurora takes beauty sleep to a whole new level. Cursed by the evil fairy, she is doomed to slumber forever more unless she can be woken by true love’s kiss.

York’s favourite family pantomime returns with a song in its heart, a joke on its lips and a sprinkle of fairy dust up its sleeve. Expect famous faces, local legends and a chorus of York’s brightest and best, bringing the classic tale alive this Christmas.

Venue Access Information

There is disabled access to the stalls level auditorium and bar via Kings Street. We also have allocated spaces for wheelchairs chairs on the end of row H and N. These will need to be requested at the time of booking.
A Sennheiser Infra Red Hearing System is available for people with hearing impairments. Please collect a headset from Front of House staff.
Guide, hearing and other working dogs are welcome in all parts of the theatre.
We have a disabled toilet in the stalls, located by the disabled access point.
