Due to phenomenal demand, Peter Andre has added eight new dates to tour in January 2013. The new tour will give Peter a chance to get up close and personal with his fans, with a return to many of the cities he visited on his Revelation tour in Spring 2010.
The Up Close and Personal tour follows his massive arena tour in Autumn 2010 which sold out with ticket sales of over 150,000.
'I cannot believe the amazing response to my 2012 tour and to be adding eight more dates is just phenomenal. I owe it all to my fans who have been brilliant. I cannot wait to start the tour, it is going to be the best yet.'
Peter is currently in the studio recording the follow up to his recent smash hit platinum selling studio albums Revelation and Accelerate. The new material is set for release in the summer.
The new tour will see Peter on stage with his band performing all of his hits including Mysterious Girl and Behind Closed Doors.
Not one, but two great acts have been added to the bill for Peter Andre’s Up Close & Personal Tour.
Opening the night will be The Risk.
In 2011 Derry, Andrew, Charlie all entered The X Factor as solo artists, but were quickly put together to form new band The Risk by the judges at Boot Camp.
Their first performance was eagerly anticipated, and they didn’t disappoint, impressing all with tight harmonies. The band were further strengthened by new recruit, Ashford, from Nu Vibe.
After exiting The X Factor The Risk set about building their reputation as one of the most exciting live acts from last year’s show and more recently the boys have been gearing up towards the release of new material, having been writing for the past 6 months in the studio. Now they have their material ready to show the mainstream, watch out!
And special guest will be talented singer/songwriter Sam Gray.
Many of you will have heard Sam’s debut single Cartwheel Queen which was play listed on over 40 stations including BBC Radio 2, seen his Channel4 TV profile or caught him live on tour with such artists as Charlie Simpson, David Ford, Westlife and The Overtones.
His album Brighter Day is a finely crafted piece of work, full of soaring melodies and life affirming lyrics which was ensconced in the top ten singer songwriter album charts on iTunes when it was released.
As a songwriter, too, Sam is fast gaining a reputation for crafting hit songs for other artists to record with hits to his name already in Holland (Ben Saunders), Taiwan (Show Luo) and China (Shang Wen Jie) as well as co-writing the upcoming album by Hollyoaks TV star Abi Phillips and numerous TV synchronisations and cues.
