This spectacular show begins with an authentic recreation of the groundbreaking ’68 comeback special. The second half culminates in a rousing expo of Elvis’s years performing in Vegas. Lee brings the majesty of the voice and the electrifying power of Elvis’s performance back to life. This device amplifies sound through ear-pieces similar to regular headphones. Suitable for persons without a hearing aid.
To access the infrared system please request receiving equipment from Box Office on the day of the show. We do ask that these be returned after the show to a member of our Front of House staff.
Guide, hearing and other working dogs are welcome in all parts of the theatre. If you wish to bring your guide or hearing dog to the theatre, please advise the Box Office when booking your tickets. Your dog is welcome to sit with you in the auditorium however please note that some shows include special effects, e.g. strobe lighting, smoke, pyrotechnics and loud bangs. Alternatively we can organise for a member of staff to care for your dog during the performance and to provide them with some drinking water.

Inter City services run from all major towns and cities, including hourly services from London, into Birmingham New Street, which is situated just a 3 minute walk to the Theatre.
On 20 September 2015, Birmingham New Street station will open followed four days later by the opening of Grand Central and John Lewis on 24 September. Together they will create a world class transport, shopping and community hub in the heart of the city, just five minutes from The New Alexandra Theatre.

Please note that Hill Street in the city centre will be operating a one way system from to allow for essential progress with the final stages of the Birmingham New Street station redevelopment.
The road will be closed to traffic travelling from the Navigation Street junction to Hinckley Street until the station opens in September. The road will remain open to traffic travelling in the opposite direction and a signed diversion, via Suffolk Street Queensway, will be in place to minimize disruption as much as possible.
Please allow extra time with your journeys and check local traffic reports before traveling. The completion of Grand Central and Birmingham New Street station will conclude September 2015
