Gilded Balloon 30th Anniversary Gala, Edinburgh Playhouse

The Gilded Balloon has been bringing entertainment to Edinburgh for 30 years and we are celebrating with a Comedy Gala with performers from the venue’s past and present. Hosted by Fred MacAulay (BBC Radio Scotland), this all-star evening boasts the best of UK and International talent. Artists confirmed include Alan Davies, Johnny Vegas, Jason Byrne, Stephen K Amos, the Boy with Tape on his Face joining us for his one and only Fringe appearance, everybody’s favourite grumpy old man Barry Cryer, Irish comedy legends Ed Byrne, Sean Hughes and Tommy Tiernan, winner of the British Comedy Award for Best Female TV Comic 2014 Aisling Bea and in a rare special appearance Scotland’s Greg McHugh as Gary Tank Commander is back on duty for one night only.
