Cinderella Overview

Kim famously co-presented Channel 4’s series How Clean Is Your House which saw success spreading into the US and also became a best selling book. In 2009 Kim won over the public’s hearts becoming the runner up in I’m a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here!

Completing all her Bush Tucker trials in the jungle, Kim will not let a simple task of keeping Cinderella out of the sights of the dashing Prince or the ugly sisters fitting their feet into the delicate slippers beat her!

‘Oh no she won’t!' Or ‘Oh yes she will!’ To find out you will have to come and see everybody’s favourite rags-to-riches pantomime, Cinderella.

Be transported into the mystical, magical land of fairy godmothers, 2 very ugly sisters, a lovable Buttons to pull on your heart strings, a dashing prince and of course the beautiful Cinderella. Watch as Cinderella is transformed into a dazzling princess before going to the ball. Along with the exquisite costumes, real ponies and a multitude of pulsating pop songs, you will not want to miss this year’s pantomime!!

Relaxed performances are designed to benefit those with Autistic Spectrum Disorders, as well as other patrons who may find the experience of visiting a theatre daunting. The atmosphere in the auditorium will be relaxed; in particular the making of noises (both involuntary or otherwise) during the performance will not be discouraged. There are likely to be some small changes to the show, in terms of lighting and sound cues, but the overall content of show will not change. A 'chill-out room' will be provided for those who may become overwhelmed by the performance, and 'Visual Stories' (detailed information and photos) of both the theatre and the show will be sent to all bookers in advance.

Venue Access Information

There are twelve wheelchair spaces available in the theatre. They are located on ground level, either on the back row of the stalls or front row of the circle. There is lift access to all levels of the theatre. All areas of the theatre are accessible to customers with limited mobility, including wheelchair users. There is level access into the Auditorium, through into the foyer, with level access into the auditorium at both sides of the foyer. The building features wide doors and additional toilet facilities for disabled people. One front of house lift provides access to the main bar and balcony seating.
Grimsby Auditorium is equipped with an infrared sound amplification system. To access the infrared system please request receiving equipment from a member of the Box Office or Front of House teams who will provide you with an induction loop necklace.

Induction Loop Necklace
Suitable for persons wearing a hearing aid, the induction loop necklace is worn around the neck. Whilst wearing the necklace, switch your hearing aid to the 'T' setting and the sound is amplified. The necklace has an adjustable volume control.
Guide, hearing and other working dogs are welcome in all parts of the theatre.
There are public toilet facilities on the ground floor of the theatre. There are also two separate, fully accessible facilities, one on the ground and the other on the first floor. Backstage there are accessible facilities. There is an emergency call-point in all accessible facilities should you need to call for a member of staff.
