Paw-some panto launch at the New Victoria Theatre

New Victoria Theatre is proud to present the biggest and brightest adventure of them all with Dick Whittington, heading to Woking from Friday 7 December 2012 to Sunday 6 January 2013.

On a bright September day the New Victoria Theatre was joined by the stars of this year’s show for a truly paw-some press day! Britain’s Got Talent winners Ashleigh and Pudsey were joined by entertainer Stephen Mulhern, panto stalwart Eric Potts and West End star Michael Pickering to pose for some photos and chat to the press about the upcoming spectacle that promises to be a wonderful show for all!

With a generous amount of make up applied, sumptuous and vibrant costumes donned and of course fur brushed the cast took to the stage ready for some panto fun in a few months time!

Last at the New Victoria Theatre in 1995, this fantastic new production of Dick Whittington tells the rags to riches tale of a young man and his cat on an exciting quest for fame and fortune. Featuring all the traditional pantomime ingredients; sensational songs, a live band, magic, dazzling dance routines, magnificent slapstick comedy and bags of audience participation – Dick Whittington is guaranteed to be full of wonder to delight audiences of all ages!

Britain’s Got Talent winners, Ashleigh and Pudsey – the talented duo, currently taking the world by storm will be making their theatrical debut with Ashleigh starring as Alice Fitzwarren with Pudsey at her side. Stephen Mulhern, TV presenter, entertainer, and magician extraordinaire is firmly established as one of the most popular young presenters in the business, Stephen will be starring as Idle Jack. Panto favourite Eric Potts will be donning his glad rags as Sarah the Cook and West End star Michael Pickering will be our adventurous Dick Whittington.
