The Liverpool Empire Theatre is set to hold a Celebrity Coffee Break in memory of Bernie Nolan on Friday 27 September from 12-2pm. The coffee break will take place in the Theatre’s Atrium Bar and all proceeds from the day will go to Macmillan Cancer Support. Several famous friends of the theatre are set to be popping along to put the kettle on and serve the cakes, the event is free to attend and everyone is welcome to drop in at any time from 12-2pm for coffee and cake and of course to make a donation to the charity. Hot drinks and cakes will be provided by the Liverpool Empire Theatre’s Cafe, Autograph.
The event is being held in memory of Bernie Nolan, who sadly lost her battle with Cancer earlier this year. Bernie was a regular on the Empire stage performing at our world famous theatre many times, most recently as Mama Morton in Chicago last year.

The coffee break is part of Macmillan Cancer Support’s flagship Coffee Morning national event, which this year aims to raise over £15m. Macmillan’s ambition is to reach and improve the lives of everyone affected by cancer in the UK, by providing them with medical, emotional, practical and financial support.
