The Lyceum Theatre in London is currently home to Disney’s The Lion King, now in its 18th year at the venue. We are looking for a highly motivated individual with previous Box Office experience (a working knowledge of the Enta ticketing system is an advantage) to join our busy sales team.

As Assistant Ticketing Manager (Box Office), you will assist the Ticketing Manager (Box Office) by being responsible for all Box Office operations, including the management of the Box Office team and ensuring that the highest standard of customer service is being delivered at all times. The successful candidate must demonstrate excellent attention to detail and accuracy, and a level of commitment that ensures all tasks are seen through until the end and deadlines met. Please note that this role will require working evenings, Saturdays, Sundays and some Public Holidays on a regular basis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Working productively under reasonable levels of pressure whilst delegating and completing tasks within specified deadlines.
  • To oversee the work of all Box Office staff and promote and encourage their development.
  • Proactively ensuring that all staff take every opportunity to upsell Ambassador Experience Packages.
  • Maintaining excellent working relations with the producers, and working very closely with them in order to maximise revenue and develop ways to maintain the current show’s profile and popularity.
  • Working to show specific targets and accurately processing ticket agent allocations, mark backs, callovers and ensuring that all inventory is effectively managed through dynamic pricing and that Private Property seats are sold.
  • To ensure an appropriate balance of stock is distributed between the theatre, agents and all other sales channels.
  • Managing customer complaints.
  • To oversee the running of the Lyceum Box Office email inbox and ensure that all relevant enquiries and requests are dealt with in a timely manner.
  • Adhering to ATG's cash handling procedures and sharing accountability for cash reconciliation and the financial integrity of the box office.
  • To undertake any other reasonable duties as requested by the management.
