New Wimbledon Theatre has an exciting opportunity for someone to join our experienced and highly talented Marketing & Communications team. You will support the work of the team in implementing effective marketing and communications campaigns and through liaison with the media and audiences, to establish the venue as the primary regional entertainment venue. The marketing team is crucial to the success of ATG’s future ambitious vision.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To manage all overprint and assist with the organisation, distribution and delivery of print; including organisation of the print room
  • To create e-shots and post social media as required
  • To support the Senior Sales & Marketing Manager and Marketing & Communications Manager with campaign implementation as required
  • To support the Marketing & Communications Manager and Marketing with press activity including events/press nights as required and being responsible for maintaining the media archive
  • To respond to charity requests
  • To adhere to all Health and Safety procedures to minimise the risk of injury and accidents and to be proactive about H & S within the venue
  • To complete any other delegated duty that assists the company achieve its business objectives
  • To demonstrate a positive and enthusiastic attitude and to aspire to achieve the company’s vision and values

Person Specification:

  • Interest in marketing, social media and web experience preferred
  • Interest in a range of theatrical experiences
  • Good verbal communication skills
  • Good written communication skills
  • Good organisational and administrative skills
  • Good presentational skills
  • Team working ability
  • Proactive style
  • Ability to work to a consistently high standard in a busy environment
  • A creative thinker with enthusiasm for exploring new initiatives
  • Enthusiasm for/interest in the theatre and the work of ATG
  • Financial acumen
