The Lyceum Theatre in London is currently home to Disney’s The Lion King, now in its 18th year at the venue. We are looking for a highly motivated individual with previous sales experience to join our busy sales team. Previous box office experience using the ‘Enta’ ticketing system is beneficial but not essential as full training will be given.


Job purpose: To assist the Ticketing Managers in the daily running of the Box Office and provide excellent customer service to our patrons, ticket agents and the producers at all times.


Principal responsibilities:

  • To thoroughly check all agent sales and allocate stock to/mark back stock from agents as and when appropriate in order to maximise sales.
  • To respond to and resolve any customer service issues that may arise during the working day and to process access bookings professionally and efficiently.
  • To process cash and credit card bookings accurately.
  • To compile and distribute reports and figures upon request for the producers and Theatre Management.
  • To open the box office, distribute floats, run collection at box office ticket print runs and other administration duties.
  • To ensure that best working practices in the box office and trade departments are adhered to, and to promote and demonstrate best practises to all other employees.
  • To have an understanding and awareness of revenue management and to be able to inform and advise the Ticketing Managers of any changes required.
  • To process house/production seat requests.
  • To be actively aware of opportunities to sell/upsell Ambassador Experience Packages.
  • To actively participate in ATG’s Be A Star training programme.

This position is offered on a zero-hours casual basis. Shifts available include evenings and weekends, and occasional Bank Holidays. We are even busier than usual over the Christmas period and so up to full time hours (40 per week) will be available until mid-January 2018.
