The Ambassadors, Woking opened in 1992 and fast established itself as one of the foremost theatres in the South East. Today it continues to be one of Surrey's first choice and preferred entertainment venues, comprising two theatres and a six-screen cinema complex. 

 

We are looking for a motivated team player with excellent communication skills to support the Box Office Management Team with the daily running of the Box Office team, help deliver the highest standards of customer service and to contribute ideas and practical assistance to fulfil marketing strategies.

 

Key Responsibilities:

To manage staff on a shift basis while achieving customer satisfaction.

To resolve customer service problems and initiate corrective action where appropriate.

Monitor staff performance and relay to Ticketing Manager for appropriate action in order to maintain an effective team.

To assist the Ticketing Manager in coaching staff in order to achieve the required performance standards.

To distribute and communicate company information and product knowledge to ensure the team is fully informed to execute their role.

To complete all daily tasks when running a shift, including float count, email response and reports and information asked for by other departments.

To monitor daily computer and equipment operations to minimise breakdowns and errors.

To assist with the update of computer information to ensure that the Box Office meets the customers needs

To liaise with the Visiting Company Managers and other external personnel to promote and deliver the Box Office services.

To cover for the Ticketing Manager as required ensuring that business objectives are continually achieved.

To fulfil the role of the Box Office Assistant as required.

To adhere to all Health & Safety procedures to minimise the risk of injury and accidents.

To attend training courses as required in order to further self development.

To complete any other delegated duty that assists the company achieve its business objectives.
