Trafalgar Studios is looking for a highly motivated individual to join the fast-paced environment of the Box Office. You will assist the Ticketing Manager in the smooth running of the department in order to maximize ticket sales whilst offering exceptional customer service.

As a venue, we are a previous recipient of the company's 'Best Producer Experience' award, and the Box Office is proud to have played its part in securing this recognition. The successful candidate will contribute actively to maintaining our strong customer-focused reputation. You should be hardworking, adaptable and show an ability to prioritise. In return you will be working at an exciting and unique West End theatre, which boasts two auditoria and a vibrant programme to match.


Key Responsibilities:

Responding positively and knowledgeably to all customer enquiries with the aim of achieving sales. To accurately process all agent sales and any producer/company requests.

Working productively under reasonable levels of pressure and completing tasks within specified deadlines.

Maintaining excellent working relationships with producers, ticket agents and all other ATG departments.

Providing accurate sales and marketing data on request. Circulating performance reports to all authorized parties.

Co-operating with other Box Office Assistants in sharing tasks and duties required to run an efficient Box Office.

In the absence of the Ticketing Manager, oversee matinee/evening incomings.

Maintaining high standards of customer care, as embodied in ATG's core values: Smile, Spine-Tingling, Red Carpet and Artistry.

Adhering to ATG's cash-handling procedures and sharing accountability for cash reconciliation and the financial integrity of the Box Office.

 

General:

The jobholder is required to exercise total confidentiality, discretion and integrity regarding information acquired as a result of their position within the organization.

 

Essential Criteria

A clear and confident communicator including excellent written and numerical skills.

Good problem-solving skills and an ability to remain calm under pressure.

Self-motivated, whilst being comfortable working as part of a close-knit team.

Attention to detail and an ability to prioritize.

 

Desirable Criteria

Prior experience of Box Office.

A track record in sales.

Proficient in Microsoft Office.



This is a 40 hour per week role with flexibility required in working hours.
