With our 2014/15 pantomime Cinderella kicking off in just over 2 months, the cast took the chance to check out Aylesbury Waterside Theatre and show a lucky auditorium full of people what's in store this Christmas! Oh and there were ponies (and mice!) Tee hee hee
This year's sparkling pantomime stars the stunning Suzanne Shaw as Fairy Godmother and Russell Grant as Baron Hardup. They are joined by Britain's Got Talent semi-finalist Andrew Derbyshire as Prince Charming, Aylesbury's very own Andy Collins as Buttons, and singer/songwriter Holly Brewer in the title role of Cinderella.
They brought the sun with them, shining the way for over 1000 excitable panto fans who were treated to refreshments and platters full of biscuits. Free activities were provided by the theatres Creative Learning partners Flametree Productions who face painted the masses and helped to make souvenir paper mice.
The stage stood proud with the sparkling Cinderella backcloth and the cast were individually introduced to their lively audience. Suzanne Shaw was in all her Fairy Godmother finery, Holly Brewer sang a beautiful rendition of Let it Go from the ever popular Disney movie Frozen and Andrew Derbyshire sang a classic from Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat.
A fun time was had by all, especially the ponies who welcomed everybody on arrival. Were on for a great panto season panto pals!
