The countdown to Christmas is on!

By Becky Martin

Since opening night there has been lots of behind the scenes snooping and dressing room peeking so that you wonderful pantoholics can get a glimpse into the action onstage and offstage, and yes we can confirm the rumour's true, we've been hit by a snow storm in panto land!

Dressing Rooms are interesting places! The Ugly Sisters have a dazzling collection of shocking make-up and bizarre accessories, Russell has a shelf overflowing with Christmas cards and almost all of the dressing rooms have supplies on cold and flu medicines, multi-vitamin c tablets! The most girliest dressing room of them all though, is of course, Holly Brewer's. With incense sticks, a cute pink Christmas tree, cream rugs and a canvas saying 'Cinderella: proof that a pair of shoes can change a girls life', it's clear our Princess appreciates the fine things in life.
Thursday's show saw Russell Grant's Strictly pal, Tess Daly, come along to support the King of Samba. Tess, Vernon and the family had a ball, and more Strictly faces have popped up since, with Russell's Strictly Christmas Special dance Partner Joanne Clifton also popping by. Keep you eyes peeled for famous faces if you're joining us this Christmas!

In other news, Baron Hardup has been parking in some strange places backstage, the Ugly Sisters made it on the front of The Bucks Herald and our adorable miniature Shetland Ponies, Micro and Buster continue to steal the show at the end of Act 1!

Now the countdown's on to Christmas, so without further ado, on behalf of all the cast, crew and theatre staff here at the Waterside

Merry Christmas!!!
