Scott Penrose is a member of the Inner Magic Circle with Gold Star and is a past recipient of the Magic Circle Stage Magician of the Year Award.
Apart from his skills as a performer, he is in demand for creating magic and illusions for theatre, film and television. Most notably, he was a co-creator for Cirque du Soleil’s current world touring show Kooza, designing magic and special effects. Scott also designed magic and illusion-based effects for Andrew LloydWebber’s musical Love Never Dies. Other recent credits include: Derren Brown - Svengali,TheTiger Who Came toTea,The Ladykillers, Ghost Stories (West End and Toronto);TheWar of theWorlds arena tour; and Faust (New York Metropolitan Opera).
He has taught magic for film and television to the likes of Sir Michael Caine,Woody Allen,Catherine Zeta-Jones, Edward Norton, and Ant and Dec. Scott’s work has taken him around the globe and he appeared in and worked on productions in the USA,Canada, Japan, India, Egypt, Israel, France, Sweden,Holland and Spain.
