Ryan King grew up in a musical family with many musical influences. His mother is a singer and his father was a sound engineer for the Rolling Stones World Tours, Adam and The Ants and Guns and Roses for many years. Ryan’s brother is also a singer. He performed as a singer in several unknown groups in the UK, auditioning as an understudy for The Drifters in 2008, after his godfather (Treadwell’s lawyer) recommended him. He went on to be an understudy, finally performing in the line-up in late 2009, appearing in the Five Decades and Moore Tour, replacing his namesake Steve V King. Ryan is a baritone tenor and is the youngest member of the current lineup.
