Rufus Hound

Rufus Hound is an English comedian-turned-actor known for portraying Francis Henshall in One Man Two Guvnors (2012-2013) during the National Theatre’s second UK tour and then at the Theatre Royal in the West End. Most recently he undertook the role of Roy in Neville’s Island (2013) at Chichester Festival Theatre and appeared on the Christmas Day 2013 special of Strictly Come Dancing.

Rufus Hound Overview

Rufus Hound is an English comedian-turned-actor known for portraying Francis Henshall in One Man Two Guvnors (2012-2013) during the National Theatre’s second UK tour and then at the Theatre Royal in the West End. Most recently he undertook the role of Roy in Neville’s Island (2013) at Chichester Festival Theatre and appeared on the Christmas Day 2013 special of Strictly Come Dancing.

Rufus has previously been linked with a number of shows as a regular panellist on comedic debate show Argumental (2008-2010) and Celebrity Juice (2008-2012). He has also been a guest panellist on Would I Lie to You (2010), Nevermind the Buzzcocks (2010-2012) and won the final of Let’s Dance for Comic Relief in 2010. 

He made his acting debut in crime comedy Big Fat Gypsy Gangster (2011) and then as Raif in comedy flick The Wedding Video (2012).
