Oliver Lidert

Oliver Lidert gained a degree in Musical Theatre at the University of the Arts between 2003 and 2007, before doing a Masters at the Central School Of Speech and Drama between 2007 and 2008. He has done a variety of stage and screen work.

Oliver Lidert Overview

Oliver Lidert gained a degree in Musical Theatre at the University of the Arts between 2003 and 2007, before doing a Masters at the Central School Of Speech and Drama between 2007 and 2008. He has done a variety of stage and screen work.

Early stage credits include Beauty and the Soldier (2004), the part of Mikado in The Hot Mikado the musical (2005), and performing as Ganesh in A Perfect Ganesh at the Gay and Lesbian Theatre Festival (2006). He appeared in the comedy The Mad Women of Chailot in 2006, and in 2007 was in musicals Ferdinand the Bull and Caroline or Change with the Arden Theatre Company, and Einstein’s Dreams at the New York Theatre Science Festival, as well as performing as a soloist in the cabaret Twenty Something. In 2008 he performed as Gustave in Mathilde, and in 2009 gained a part in The Lion King in the West End. In 2012 as well as staying in his role with The Lion King and performing in various associated events, he has appeared in Opera De Bauge’s Romeo and Juliet, and most recently joined the original London cast of the Book of Mormon.
