Nicholas Asbury

Nicholas is an English stage and screen actor, with an extensive list of credits as well as two self-written publications.

He first appeared on the stage in the RSC’s production of Pentecost  (1995), and has acquired an array of notable credits since, including several more performances with the RSC and roles in Henry V (2011) and The Winter’s Tale (2012) as part of Propellor World Tour.

Nicholas Asbury Overview

Nicholas is an English stage and screen actor, with an extensive list of credits as well as two self-written publications.

He first appeared on the stage in the RSC’s production of Pentecost  (1995), and has acquired an array of notable credits since, including several more performances with the RSC and roles in Henry V (2011) and The Winter’s Tale (2012) as part of Propellor World Tour.

After a long history of screen roles, Nicholas most recently played Winston Churchill in BBC Drama 37 Days (2014) and Uncle Nige in Channel 4’s Drifters (2014), as well as appearing in Sherlock for the BBC in 2014.

2015 sees Nicholas return to the stage as the Earl of Wessex in the West End production of Shakespeare in Love.
