Miranda Sinani Overview

Miranda Sinani is an Albanian soprano who trained at the National Music College in Tirana, moving to England in 2001. She graduated from the Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester in 2005, and from the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama in 2008. A 2002 finalist for the Kathleen Ferrier Bursary Award for Young Singers, she has won the Frederic Cox Award (2005) and the Joyce and Michael Kennedy Award for the Singing of Strauss finalist (2005).

Operatic credits include The Elixir of Love as part of the Scottish Opera 2010-11 season. She has engagements with Clonter Opera for Così fan tutte, as Echo in Ariadne auf Naxos, Giulietta in The Tales of Hoffmann, and as Miss Hemingford in Marianne Dreams for its world première at Sadler’s Wells in London, as well as the title role in Princess Ida in Buxton.
