Melanie Gray is a stage and screen actress. Melanie Gray Overview

Melanie Gray is a stage and screen actress. After playing the lead Mia in Immaculate at the Gilded Balloon at the Edinburgh 2005 Festival, in 2006 she performed at the Union Theatre in This to This with the London Ensemble and Until I Get My Gorgeous Wings with Kilometer Zero. 2007 saw her play Felicity in The Real Inspector Hound, and in 2008 she appeared in Modern Dance for Beginners in Camden’s People’s Theatre, and in The Rape of Bunny Stuntz at The Rosemary Branch. Credits from 2009 include 26, a reprisal of her role in This To This at The Colour House, and the role of Jessica in Hysteria at The English Theatre in Frankfurt. In 2010, she played Samantha Cameron in The New Prime Minister, and in 2012 gained the part of Mary in Harry Burton’s The Leisure Society at the Trafalgar Studios.

Television work includes the part of Hannah Fairbairn in Doctors (2005), and various parts in MTV’s sketch show Strutter (2007). In 2011, she played Chris’ girlfriend in Chris Moyles’ Quiz Night, and Melanie in Law and Order: Criminal Intent. 2012 has seen her play Colette Gilbert-Bamber in 13 Steps Down, and Zara Laing in the BBC’s Pramface.

Film work is extensive, with roles in Flatshare (2006), Perfect Fried Chicken (2007), Laddered and Souvenirs (2008), and Roar and Sniff (2009). In 2010 she appeared in Where There’s Life, The Christmas Bunny, The Kiss and Cheerful Weather for the Wedding. She played lead roles in 2011 films I Chop You and Dog Days, and played Anne in Anamnesis in 2012.
