Before graduating from RADA in July 2012, Maureen O'Connell had been a professional actress on the Dublin stages with credits including: Cathy from Wuthering Heights, Cassandra from Trojan Women and Cecily in The Importance of Being Earnest.

Maureen O'Connell Overview

Before graduating from RADA in July 2012, Maureen O'Connell had been a professional actress on the Dublin stages with credits including: Cathy from Wuthering Heights, Cassandra from Trojan Women and Cecily in The Importance of Being Earnest.

Maureen is also a filmmaker and has a Higher National Diploma in Film Production from Ballyfermot College, Dublin. She has written and directed three short films, two of which have screened and competed at international film festivals around the world.

Since graduating from RADA, Maureen has starred in BBC's Quick Cuts, Doctors and had a lead part in Father Brown alongside Mark Williams, James Fleet and Sorcha Cusack.

A Handful of Stars marks Maureen's professional theatrical debut in London and she is very excited and thrilled to be a part of it.
