Matthew Cammelle Overview

 Matthew Cammelle is a stage performer. His professional debut was as Brad in Rocky Horror Picture Show (1992), followed by the part of Marius in Trevor Nunn and John Caird’s production of Les Miserables in the West End (1995). In 1996, he made his only television appearance, as Ben in Dressing for Breakfast, and over the next couple of years played parts in productions at Basingstoke Haymarket Theatre. In 1998, he played Enjolras in Les Miserables, before performing at the West Yorkshire Playhouse in 1999. 2000 saw him play Raoul in Cameron Mackintosh’s production of Phantom of the Opera, and in 2002 appeared in Follies at the Royal Festival Hall. He returned to Phantom in 2005 and in 2008 played the Beast in Beauty and the Beast. 2010 saw him play Harry Bright on Mama Mia’s international tour, and in 2012 played Emile de Becque in ATG’s production of South Pacific.
