Mark Heap is one of the most prolific comedy performers and writers working in Britain today. He is adored by fellow comedians and audiences alike. Heap is best known for his portrayal as the pompous Dr Alan Statham in Channel 4s The Green Wing and struggling artist Brian Topp in the cult favourite Spaced.

He has frequently collaborated with the satirist Chris Morris, including on the legendary Brass Eye and has recently worked with Stewart Lee on his BBC Two series Stewart Lees Comedy Vehicle. He has recently been seen as Jim in the sitcom Friday Night Dinner and Philip in Sky1’s Spy. He also has a number of film credits including Confetti (2006) and The Worlds End (2013).

He makes his West End stage debut as Jeeves in Perfect Nonsense.
