Mark's theatre includes: The Master and Margarita, Venus and Adonis, Twelfth Night, Romeo in Romeo and Juliet, The Hunchback of Notre Dame, Prince Hal in Henry IV Part One, D'Artagnan in The Three Musketeers, A Midsummer Night's Dream, Measure for Measure, An Ideal Husband and Hamlet (both directed by Sir Peter Hall), Salome (directed by Steven Berkoff), Noises Off, The Shell Seekers, The Importance of Being Earnest, Neville's Island, Donkey's Years, Charley's Aunt and, at the National Theatre, Present Laughter and David Hare's The Power of Yes. He recently toured Ireland, playing the title roles in Hamlet and Macbeth for Open Window Productions.

Television and film includes: A Hazard of Hearts, The Monk, Lady Jane (directed by Trevor Nunn), EastEnders, The Bill, Peak Practice, Zeus in Gory Greek Gods and Emmerdale, playing the regular role of Andrew Fraser.
