Keeley Hawes is a London-born English actress who attended Sylvia Young Theatre School. She made her stage debut as Belle Stark in Clifford Odet’s Rocket to the Moon (2011) at the National Theatre. Keeley Hawes Overview

Keeley Hawes is a London-born English actress who attended Sylvia Young Theatre School. She made her stage debut as Belle Stark in Clifford Odet’s Rocket to the Moon (2011) at the National Theatre. In autumn 2013 she will star as Chrissie in a new comedy production, Barking in Essex, alongside Sheila Hancock and Lee Evans at the Wyndhams Theatre.

With significant parts in BBC mini-series Tipping the Velvet (2002) and The Canterbury Tales (2003) and a key role in the first three series of BBCs thrilling MI-5 drama Spooks (2002-2004) Keeley established herself as a thriving British actress. Since then Keeley has gone on to star as leading lady Alex Drake in Ashes to Ashes (2008-2010), the sequel to BBC sci-fi drama Life on Mars, and as Lady Agnes in the return of Upstairs, Downstairs (2010-2012).

Keeley has also starred in a number of feature films including A Cock and Bull Story (2005) and Death at a Funeral (2007) and also in minor roles in crime drama The Bank Job (2008) and Flashbacks of a Fool (2008).
