Kai Owen

Kai Owen is a Welsh stage and screen actor who trained at Mountview Theatre School. Kai has appeared a number of times at the Clwyd Theatr Cymru.

Kai is also known for his work in television, which includes the role of Rhys in Torchwood (2006 - 2011), Gareth in The Syndicate (2012), Harri in Y Pris 2 (2007), Shiner in Rocketman (2005) and Kev in Tipyn O Stad (2004).

Kai Owen Overview

Kai Owen is a Welsh stage and screen actor who trained at Mountview Theatre School. Kai has appeared a number of times at the Clwyd Theatr Cymru, undertaking roles such as Valentine in Twelfth Night (1999), Cherry Owen/Dai Bread in Under Milk Wood (2000), Crispin Usher in A Chorus of Disapproval (2006), Charles in As You Like It (2012), Detective in Glengarry Glen Ross (2012), Desmond Curry in The Winslow Boy (2013), Willie Diver in Aristocrats (2013) and has performed in Terry Hands’ recent production of Under Milk Wood (2014). Kai made his West End debut in 2005 as Harry Secombe in Ying Tong – A Walk with the Goons.
