Jonny Lee Miller

Jonny Lee Miller is the grandson of Bond star Bernard Lee.  His first professional role was in a Doctor Who episode aged 10. In 1993, he played Ste in the premier of the play Beautiful Thing at the Bush Theatre.

 His big break came in 1995 when he appeared in the feature film Hackers alongside Angelina Jolie.

Jonny Lee Miller Overview

Jonny Lee Miller is the grandson of Bond star Bernard Lee.  His first professional role was in a Doctor Who episode aged 10. In 1993, he played Ste in the premier of the play Beautiful Thing at the Bush Theatre.

 His big break came in 1995 when he appeared in the feature film Hackers alongside Angelina Jolie.

In 2011 he performed at the National Theatre as both Victor Frankenstein and his monster in Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein. He won the Best Actor Award at the 2012 Olivers for this performance.

Other theatre credits include Adam in Someone Who’ll Watch Over Me at New Ambassador Theatre (2005), Sloane in Entertaining Mr Sloane and a guest appearance in the West End Production of The Play What I Wrote (2001).

His most recent role has been in CBS drama Elementary playing Sherlock Holmes alsongside Lucy Liu.
