Joe Sterling

Joe Sterling Overview

Joe Sterling trained at the National Youth Theatre of Great Britain, gaining a diploma in Musical Theatre in 2010.

Sterling has spent his career singing in a number of choirs. In 2003, the Christmas Concert he sang for in Birmingham Symphony Hall was broadcast on radio, and in 2011 he participated in the recording of My Land’s Shore album. Apart from an appearance in the film Atonement, other work has been on stage.

Musical work includes The Carpenters UK Tour (2004), Stagecoach at Drury Lane at Theatre Royal Drury Lane (2005), Oliver! at New Vic Theatre (2006), After The Turn (2009), Without a Paddle at the Jermyn Street Theatre (2010), A Christmas Carol (2010), and The Jungle Book on a UK National Tour and at the Old Rep Theatre (2011 and 2012).

Recently, he has appeared in concerts: in 2012, he was a soloist in Workin Process 3 with the Iris Theatre Company, and in 2012 was a soloist and composer on Battersea Barge in Easter With The Composers. His debut album, Joe Sterling: Somewhere in My Mind has recently been released.
