Joanna Francis

Joanna Francis is a musical theatre performer. In 2007, she appeared at the Royal Festival Hall, and in 2008 returned to her role in The Harder They Come, this time performing at The Barbican Theatre, Birmingham Hippodrome and The Playhouse Theatres. She then toured with this to Canada in 2009. In 2010, she gained various roles in Disney’s production of The Lion King, performing at the West End’s Lyceum Theatre.

Joanna Francis Overview

Joanna Francis is a musical theatre performer. Between 1997 and 2001 she was a principal dancer for The Company Dance Theatre. In 2003, she appeared in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat in Ohio in the USA. In 2004, she went on a Scandinavian Tour with Jesus Christ Superstar, and in 2005 had a part in The Big Life, produced by Bill Kenwright. In 2006, after a radio part on the BBC, she appeared at Theatre Royal Stratford East as Elsa in The Harder They Come. In 2007, she appeared at the Royal Festival Hall, and in 2008 returned to her role in The Harder They Come, this time performing at The Barbican Theatre, Birmingham Hippodrome and The Playhouse Theatres.
