Jessica Ellerby is a stage and screen actress. Her professional career started in 2004 at the Edinburgh Festival. She studied at Bristol Old Vic Theatre School, appearing in a variety of shows whilst there, including Under Milk Wood, The Vicar of Wakefield , Brunel, As You Like It (all 2006), The London Cuckholds, The Collector, Stags and Hens, and A Chaste Maid in Cheapside (all 2007).
In 2008 she made her debut in London, performing at Southwark Playhouse and Theatre 503. In 2009 her performances included appearing as Lacey in Oohrah at the Finborough Theatre, and in Dick Whittington and his Cat at Chipping Norton Theatre. In 2010, she returend to Theatre 503 as Marie in Curvature before gaining the part of lead Donna in Bob Tomson’s production of Dreamboats and Petticoats. In 2011, she returned to the Finborough as Ronnie in Fanta Orange, and 2012 saw Ellerby appearing with Nabakov Productions at the Old Vic Tunnels. She most recently gained the part of Linda Washbrook in Trevor Nunn’s West End production of A Chorus of Disapproval.
Ellerby has also appeared on screen a number of times. In 2009 she played Stacey Hayes in The Bill, and in 2010 appeared as Vicky Saunders in EastEnders. Film work includes Easier Ways to Make a Living and Get Him to the Greek in 2009, as the part of Lynne in Dunwich and Hollow in 2010, and as Alice in Svengali in 2012.
