Jenny Arnold Overview

Choreographer Jenny Arnold has most recently collaborated with director Christopher Luscombe on Love’s Labour’s Lost and Love’s Labour’s Won (RSC Stratford) and has previously worked as choreographer with Christopher on The Rocky Horror Show (UK tour); The History Boys (UK tour);The Merry Wives of Windsor, The Comedy of Errors (Shakespeare’s Globe); Enjoy (UK tour/West End); A Midsummer Night’s Dream (Regent’s Park); The Shakespeare Revue (RSC/Vaudeville); Masterpieces (Birmingham Rep) and The Likes of Us, Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice’s first musical, for the Sydmonton Festival.

Jenny was nominated for the Olivier Award and the Whatsonstage Award for her choreography of the National Theatre’s sell-out production of Jerry Springer - the Opera, which transferred to the Cambridge Theatre, and which she staged for the Sydney Opera House.

 Amongst many others her theatre credits include: Peter Pan, The Wizard of Oz (Birmingham Rep/West Yorkshire Playhouse); The Sorcerer (Buxton Festival); Salad Days (UK tour); The Witches (Birmingham Rep/West End/UK tour); Arcadia (Bristol Old Vic); Ben Elton’s Popcorn (Apollo); Maddie (Lyric); Guys and Dolls and Chicago (director and choreographer, City Hall, Bermuda); HMS Pinafore, The Merry Widow and The Mikado (Covent Garden Festival/UK tour); La Traviata (Belfast Castleward Opera) and Into the Woods (Royal Academy of Music). Jenny has also choreographed all of the international Tweenies live tours.

Jenny’s film and television credits include: Nativity, Confetti (both starring Martin Freeman); Russell Howard’s Good News, The Impressions Show With Culshaw and Stephenson, Stewart Lee’s Comedy Vehicle, Marie Lloyd, The Adventures of Fanny Hill, An Audience With Al Murray, Kombat Opera, Most Mysterious Murders, Sherlock Holmes, An Audience With Harry Hill, The All New Harry Hill Show, Frank Skinner Prom, Dead Ringers and Our Friends in the North.

Jenny has directed numerous pantomimes and children’s arena shows including Noddy and Milkshake! Live and most recently was assistant director/choreographer on the arena tour of Doctor Who Live.
