Jeany Spark

Jeany Spark studied at Oxford, appearing in various productions whilst there, before training at RADA. In 2008, Spark appeared as Lucy Davenport in the Almeida Theatre’s Waste, and in 2010 in HighTide’s Moscow Live and Salisbury Playhouse’s A Voyage Round My Father, as directed by Jamie Glover. In 2012, she appears as Lucy in the West End Trafalgar Studios’ production of Celebrity Night at Cafe Red.

Jeany Spark Overview

Jeany Spark studied at Oxford, appearing in various productions whilst there, before training at RADA. With RADA, she appeared in Through The Shadows With O'Henry, Odysseus, as Rosalind in As You Like It, A Month in the Country, The Beggar’s Opera, Richard III, Cupid’s Revenge, An Ideal Husband, A Mouthful of Birds, Scenes from the Big Picture, and Rabbit. In 2008, Spark appeared as Lucy Davenport in the Almeida Theatre’s Waste, and in 2010 in HighTide’s Moscow Live and Salisbury Playhouse’s A Voyage Round My Father, as directed by Jamie Glover. In 2012, she appears as Lucy in the West End Trafalgar Studios’ production of Celebrity Night at Cafe Red.

Television roles are numerous, and include the BBC parts of Linda Wallander in Wallander (2008-9), Mercy Chant in Tess of the D’Urbervilles (2008), and Isabella in The Thick Of It (2009). 2010 roles include Ruth in Sherlock and Joan Malin in Hattie, whilst 2011 saw her appear in Channel 4’s The Black Mirror, ITV’s Law and Order UK and the BBC’s Death in Paradise. Most recently, she appeared as Gemma in Sky 1’s A Touch of Cloth (2012).
