Ian McNeice

Ian McNeice is a prolific screen and stage actor. After training at LAMDA, he spent several years in theatre, with a 4 year stint with the Royal Shakespeare Company and a production of Nicholas Nickleby (directed by Trevor Nunn) which went to Broadway. He has also performed at the Old Vic, working under Sam Mendes’ direction, and in Never So Good at the National Theatre, as directed by Howard Davis.

Ian McNeice is a prolific screen and stage actor. After playing Harcourt in the award-winning television series Edge of Darkness, his television career really took off, with performances in Doc Martin, Lewis, Doctor Who, David Copperfield, and Jonathan Creek, to name but a few. His film appearances are numerous, including 84 Charing Cross Road, No Escape, The Englishman Who Went Up a Hill But Came Down a Mountain, Day of the Dead and From Hell.
