Harry Lister Smith

Harry Lister Smith graduated from the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in 2010. Since graduating, he performed as Cornelius and a player in the Sheffield Crucible’s Hamlet, and took the role of Ed in the Royal Court Theatre’s Posh, directed by Lyndsey Turner, in its transfer to The Duke of York’s Theatre. Also in 2012, he played the part of Randy in Royal Court Young Writers’ rehearsed reading of Hark.

Harry Lister Smith Overview

Harry Lister Smith graduated from the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in 2010. Theatre credits whilst there include roles in The Seagull, Oleanna, The Way of the World, Agamemnon, Hamlet, Don Juan in Soho, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, 6 Characters Looking for an Author, Hands Across the Sea, Still Life and Summer Folk. Since graduating, he performed as Cornelius and a player in the Sheffield Crucible’s Hamlet, and took the role of Ed in the Royal Court Theatre’s Posh, directed by Lyndsey Turner, in its transfer to The Duke of York’s Theatre. Screen credits include a part in the BBC’s My Dad’s the Prime Minister back in 2003, the role of George Arthur in ITV’s Tom Brown's Schooldays in 2005, and a 2010 role in E20. Film credits include parts in short films Young Funeral Operative (2010) and The Liar and The Thief (2011), as well as the part of Bernard Middleton in Madame Solario (2011).
