Greg Hemphill

Greg Hemphill is a Scottish actor, comedian, and television and radio presenter. His career kick started at the Edinburgh Festival when he received the 1990 ‘So You Think You’re Funny’ trophy. He appeared with the sketch show Only An Excuse on television in 1995, and with Pulp Video in 1996. In this latter year he presented the BBC’s The Wide Nation radio show, and in 1997 performed in Chewin’ The Fat.

Greg Hemphill Overview

Greg Hemphill is a Scottish actor, comedian, and television and radio presenter. His career kick started at the Edinburgh Festival when he received the 1990 ‘So You Think You’re Funny’ trophy. He appeared with the sketch show Only An Excuse on television in 1995, and with Pulp Video in 1996. In this latter year he presented the BBC’s The Wide Nation radio show, and in 1997 performed in Chewin’ The Fat. Hemphill and Kiernan scripted seven episodes for then popular children's TV show Hububb, guest starring in the show in 1998. For two years he appeared as a lead role in the BBC’s television series of Chewin’ the Fat, and between 2002 and 2007 regularly starred in Still Game. In 2008, he performed as Elvis in the film Elbhis, and as Robert in the TV show No Holds Bard.
