David Cardy

David Cardy Overview

David Cardy made his London theatre debut at the Royal Court in 1997, with a performance in The Shallow End. He has since worked with many reputable theatre companies, including the English Touring Theatre in a couple of Shakespeare comedies and Don Juan, as well as appearing on many high profile London stages. These include the Hampstead Theatre (1998 and 2002) and The Old Vic, as Agamemnon in Troilus and Cressida, 2000, and the Fool in Stephen Unwin’s King Lear, 2003. He has performed with the English National Opera in 2006, and most recently has performed in Bob Tomson’s Dreamboats and Petticoats (2009), at the Rose Theatre in 2010, in Ghost Stories at the Lyric Hammersmith and in its West End transfer to the Duke of York’s (2010) and most recently at the Northampton Royal Theatre.

Television credits include the BBC’s Trial by Jury, Silent Witness, EastEnders (2001), and, in 2003, A Touch of Frost and seven episodes of The Bill.
