Chris Brannick is a founding member of the internationally renowned percussion group EnsembleBash. With an honorary music degree from the Royal Academy of Music, his compositions and arrangements feature on CDs, websites, documentaries, Children’s BBC, and music festivals. A professor at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, he has been a Percussion Clinician at the Royal College of Music and an external tutor for Goldsmiths. He has also recorded several CDs. The Head of Instrumental Music for the London Borough of Newham, Chris can play cimbalom, percussion, steel pan, drum kit, guitar, bass guitar, bugle, piano, and also sings. He runs another percussion quartet, The Brake Drum Assembly, and his cabaret bands ‘The Favoured Few’ and ‘The Brannick Academy’ appear in this country and New York. He is also an actor.
