Cassidy Janson trained at the London Studio Centre and Millenium Dance 2000 Theatre School. In 2005 she appeared in the London premiere of Jonathan Larson’s tick, tick... BOOM! at the Menier Chocolate Factory in the lead role of Susan. She then went on to workshop with Stephen Daldry for Bridget Jones the Musical.
She was also a member of the Original London Cast of Wicked (2006) at the Apollo Victoria, which included being 1st Cover for the lead role of Elphaba. In 2009 she starred in Cameron Mackintosh’s Avenue Q in the principal roles of Kate Monster and Lucy the Slut. More recently Cassidy appeared in the Menier Chocolate Factory production of Candide (2013), undertaking the role of Paquette.
Other theatre credits include Maggie in Lend Me a Tenor (2011) at the Gielgud Theatre, Amy in Company (2011) at the Southwark Playhouse, Trinity in The Route to Happiness (2013) at the Landor Theatre, and Nurse in Blood Wedding (2013) at the Courtyard Theatre.
