Ben Deery Overview

Stage actor Ben Deery has a great many theatre credits to his name. Whilst studying at Cambridge University, he performed in various ADC productions and under the up-and-coming director Simon Evans. After training at LAMDA and performing in LAMDA productions between 2006 and 2008, he made his London debut at the West End Playhouse Theatre in La Cage Aux Folles. Followed by a performance at Olivier Award Winning New Writing venue Theatre 503, his stage career really took off in 2010, with two performances at The Globe (in Mark Rosenblatt’s Henry VIII and Anne Boleyn) and two performances in Edinburgh’s Royal Lyceum Theatre (in The Importance of Being Earnest and Romeo and Juliet). Returning twice to The Globe in 2011, he also performed in several regional productions and made a brief appearance in The Fortune Theatre’s The Woman in Black. In 2012, he has performed at the London Fringe venue the Finborough in All Good Men and as Edmund in the RSC’s King Lear, directed by Tim Crouch.
