Alex Ferns Overview

Alex Ferns’ career took off in the late nineties, with appearances in film, television and on stage. Within stage, he has moved between Shakespeare (Romeo and Juliet 1998 and Richard III 1999) to West End musicals (Guys and Dolls 2006-7 to South Pacific in 2011). Nominated for What’s On Stage’s Best Supporting Actor prize in 2003 for his performance at the prestigious Almeida Theatre, he won the TMA Award for the same title in 2004 for his performance in Coyote on a Fence at the Royal Exchange. With performances in Holby City, EastEnders, and even as Mark Anthony in the BBC’s Rise and Fall of the Roman Empire, his television resume is completed by radio experience and feature film appearances and the Best Actor Award at Cherbourg Film Festival in 2005.
