Aisling Loftus

Aisling Loftus Overview

Aisling Loftus started acting at 9 years old and made her television debut only a year later, appearing in an episode of Peak Practice.  She subsequently played several small roles in television series, including Casualty, Doctors, and The Bill and appeared in the film This is England. In 2008 Screen International magazine listed Loftus as a ‘Star of Tomorrow’, something which appears to have come true: in 2010 she starred in the BBC’s drama Five Daughters and in the star-studded and Dominic Savage’s critically acclaimed Dive. After some stage performances at the National and Nottingham Theatres, in 2010 she took to the Royal Court stage with Spur of the Moment, followed by a 2012 performance in The Old Vic’s sold out Noises Off run.
