ATG also co-produced Constellations on Broadway and The King and I with Lincoln Center Theatre.

ATG has a number of major production company initiatives. In partnership with Tony Award® winner Jerry Mitchell, the acclaimed director and choreographer, Jerry Mitchell Productions develops new productions for ATG theatres in London and New York. Theatre Royal Brighton Productions presents classic and new drama both on tour in the UK and in the West End; and in partnership with acclaimed director, Jamie Lloyd, Jamie Lloyd Productions creates bespoke pieces of theatrical work including most recently the hugely successful Trafalgar Transformed seasons in the West End.
ATG has a group partner company Sonia Friedman Productions (SFP), which is a West End and Broadway production company responsible for some of the most successful theatre productions in London and on Broadway over the past few years. Since 1990, SFP has developed, initiated and produced over 140 new productions and has won numerous Olivier and Tony Awards.
Recent SFP West End and Broadway theatre productions and co-productions include the UK premiere of The Book of Mormon, Jez Butterworth's The River on Broadway, starring Hugh Jackman, The Nether, Bend it Like Beckham the Musical, Hamlet starring Benedict Cumberbatch, Electra, King Charles III, Sunny Afternoon, Shakespeare in Love, Jerusalem, Ghosts, Mojo, Chimerica, Twelfth Night & Richard III and Old Times.
Sonia will also collaborate with J. K. Rowling on a new stage play to be based on the Harry Potter stories in co-production with Colin Callender. Current television productions include the television adaptation of Ronald Harwood’s The Dresser starring Anthony Hopkins and Ian McKellen, to be directed by Richard Eyre for the BBC. This follows directly after her current partnership with Playground Entertainment on the six-part mini-series adaptation of Hilary Mantel’s Wolf Hall for the BBC and Masterpiece co-produced by Company Pictures.
ATG is the majority shareholder of BB Group, one of the leading producers and promoters of premium live entertainment in Europe with a particular strength in touring musicals and dance productions throughout Germany, Austria and Switzerland. BB Group’s productions include West Side Story, We Will Rock You, The Rocky Horror Show, Cats, Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater and Ballet Revolución. BB Group’s 2015 co-productions include The Lion King and The Bodyguard.
Founded in 1987 by acclaimed producer, the late Michael Brenner, the BB Group now presents more than 1,000 performances each year, generating more than 1.5 million ticket sales. BB Group is renowned for its creative expertise and its reputation for quality and reliability which has led to strong and enduring relationships with leading venue operators and content rights holders.
The BB Group has won the tender to re-develop the Staatenhaus in Cologne as a 1,700 seat theatre. The Staatenhaus will replace the temporary Cologne Musical Dome and will be the top venue for musicals in the Rhine-Ruhr region of Germany.
ATG also owns a major national family entertainment and pantomime company, First Family Entertainment (FFE). FFE are producing ten star-studded pantomimes for the Christmas 2015/2016 season.
