Ruben Guthrie Overview

Ruben Guthrie is the tantalising new comedy from internationally celebrated playwright and actor Brendan Cowell presented by IronBark. He lines up the shots for us in a heady cocktail of fizzy humour and touching revelation. It's a sparkling play about spiralling high, crashing hard and going to AA with your mum.

IronBark, founded in 2010 presents the best new Australian writers to UK audiences connecting the talents of British casts and creative teams. Productions include The Captive by Ben Ellis at the Finborough Theatre and Theatre Ashes Latitude Festival (writers include Melisa Bubnic, Ben Ellis, Kenny Emson, John AD Fraser, Tanika Gupta & Joel Horwood) and their sell-out monthly play reading series, PubPlays.
