Doug Stanhope

'A freewheeling articulacy of which this still-thrilling comic is capable, electrifying comedy.'
The Guardian

Chortle

Brutal, shambolic, savage and unpredictable, no-holds-barred comedian who displays scant respect for any personal, moral, or social boundaries. He is a raging, vitriolic, viciously brilliant critic of the stupidity of our social and political systems and the moronic saps who sustain it, and he's the funniest comic you will ever see.

***** 'If there's a comedian out there who is as notably quotable and as vital as Stanhope I haven't heard him or her yet.'
The Independent

***** 'Searing, relevant and brilliantly funny... one of the greatest comedians on the planet. If fearless stand-up is your bag, you'd be a fool to miss him'
