There are two wheelchair spaces available in the Circle level, which can be accessed via the Beecham Bar.
The Opera House now offers a Hearing Loop System for the deaf and hard and hearing. A £10 deposit is required per headset (this will be refunded upon return of the headset).
Guide dogs and hearing dogs are welcome at the Opera House and they can stay with you while you are in the Theatre. If you wish to bring your guide or hearing dog to the Theatre, please advise the Box Office when booking your tickets and a seat next to the aisle will be reserved for you. Alternatively a member of staff will care for your dog during the performance. We can also provide drinking water for your dog.
There are disabled toilet facilities on the ground level of the theatre.

Manchester is served by an excellent Motorway network:

The nearest car park is Spinningfields on New Quay Street - £7.00 for 6 hours any time over this will be charged the normal rate and Parking at Great Northern is £7.00 for 6 hours; again anything over this will be charged at normal rate.
For those with a sat nav the postcode for Spinningfields is M3 3BE and the postcode for Great Northern is M2 5QA
To get the discounted parking rate you must bring your car park ticket to the cloakroom at the theatre for it to be validated - only applicable for evening performances where the car has been parked after 5pm
By train:
The Opera House is close to the Deansgate Station and also the Oxford Road station is 10 mins away. Piccadilly train station is only 1 mile from the theatre.
By tram:
The nearest tram stop is St Peters Square
By coach:
Coaches operate from the coach station at Manchester Central. This follows an extensive refurbishment of the site, formerly known as Chorlton Street Coach Station.
By bus:
The Opera House is situated on Quay Street and is on and close to all the major bus routes.
